Getting married soon, not someday? Let's talk.

Most wedding photographers around here are booked a year out. I've kept my calendar open specifically for elopements, micro weddings and small, intimate ceremonies โ€” including the ones happening in a few weeks, not a few seasons. Same attention as a full wedding day, sized and priced for a smaller one.

Small, intimate beach elopement ceremony
How This Works

Built for short notice, not just small

A lot of elopements and micro weddings happen because plans changed, timing moved up, or you just decided you didn't want the year-long version. This page exists for that โ€” a shorter path from "we picked a date" to "it's booked," with pricing you can see before you ever have to ask.

One photographer, no big production, no twenty-minute posed sequence. I stay out of the way until the moment needs someone there to catch it โ€” same instinct as a full wedding day, just applied to a smaller one.

Questions

Before you reach out

How much does elopement photography cost in Ontario?+

Coverage is published in three tiers: The Ceremony (2 hours) is $1,200, The Half Day (4 hours) is $2,300, and The Whole Day (6–8 hours) is $3,300. All CAD, all include an edited online gallery.

Can you take a short-notice booking?+

Yes โ€” that's why we're here. Dates within a few weeks out are the normal case here, not the exception. Reach out even if it feels too soon to ask; worst case, I say I can't make it work and we go from there.

What's the difference between an elopement and a micro wedding?+

Mostly guest count and how much ceremony there is around it. An elopement is usually just the two of you and a witness; a micro wedding or small wedding still has family, a toast, maybe dinner โ€” just a fraction of a typical guest list. Both fall under the same three coverage tiers below, priced by hours, not by which word you use for it.

How far will you travel?+

I'm based in Lindsay and cover Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough, Durham, Northumberland, Orillia and Barrie. Somewhere else in mind? Just ask.

Do we need a permit or an officiant?+

You'll need both, and I can help with either. Permit research and paperwork is a $150 add-on if you'd rather not sort it out yourself, and I can point you toward officiants who take short-notice bookings if you don't have one yet.

What if it rains, or your gear fails?+

I shoot with backup bodies and lenses on every booking, and weather has never once cancelled a day โ€” just changed the plan. Rain makes for some of the best photos, honestly.

How many photos do we get, and how long until delivery?+

Expect a fully edited gallery sized to your coverage — a smaller set from a 2-hour ceremony, more from a full day. Standard delivery is a couple of weeks; if you need it sooner, 48-hour delivery is available as a $250 add-on.
